Effective date: 3 September 2026. This policy applies to all puja, yagna, havan, astrology, consultation, digital and related orders placed with Pandit Neelesh Shastri.
Payments are final
Every successful payment is final and non-refundable. Immediately after confirmation, Pandit or priest time may be reserved, the Sankalp and ritual plan are prepared, and puja-specific flowers, food, offerings and other Samagri may be procured or allocated. These costs and preparations cannot ordinarily be recovered if a customer changes or cancels the booking.
No refund for customer-side cancellation
No full or partial refund is provided for change of mind, personal emergency, travel or schedule conflict, inability to attend the live session, incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, duplicate bookings placed by the customer, dissatisfaction with a spiritual or astrological outcome, or refusal or failure to accept an included delivery.
Rescheduling requests
Rescheduling is not guaranteed. A request made before preparation or performance begins may be considered once, at the sole discretion of Pandit Neelesh Shastri and subject to priest, temple and muhurat availability. Same-day, festival, group, muhurat-specific and already-prepared bookings may not be changeable. A revised date is confirmed only in writing, and any additional cost caused by the change must be paid by the customer.
Limited refund exceptions
A refund will be considered only in the following circumstances:
- a verified duplicate gateway charge for the same order;
- payment is captured but no order can be created or fulfilled after verification;
- we are unable to perform the booked service or supply a material paid deliverable and cannot offer a reasonable replacement or rescheduled performance; or
- a refund is required by applicable law, a court, regulator, payment network or acquiring bank.
A delivery delay, customs hold, failed customer internet connection, inability to join live, or a difference in subjective expectation is not merchant-side non-fulfilment when the ritual or paid deliverable has been provided as described.
How to report a payment issue
Contact us through the Contact Us page as soon as possible and provide the order number, registered email or phone number, payment date, amount and gateway transaction reference. Do not send a card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password. We may request a bank statement excerpt showing only the relevant debit to verify a duplicate or unmatched payment.
Refund processing timeline
If an exception is approved, we will initiate the refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after verification. The bank, card network, UPI provider or payment gateway may then require an additional 7–10 working days to display the credit. Gateway, currency-conversion, bank or international charges are refundable only where required by law or supported by the relevant provider.
Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us first so that we can investigate. Filing a chargeback does not alter this policy and does not itself establish that a refund is due. We may provide the order confirmation, policy acceptance, communication, Sankalp record, performance evidence, delivery evidence and gateway records to the bank or payment provider when responding to a dispute.
Contact
Use the merchant contact details displayed on this page and include your order number. This policy should be read with our Terms & Conditions, Returns & Replacement Policy and Disclaimer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are puja bookings refundable after payment?
No. Successful payments are final and normally non-refundable because priest time, preparation and Samagri are committed immediately.
Can I change my puja date?
A timely request may be considered once at the discretion of Pandit Neelesh Shastri, subject to preparation status, priest availability and the nature of the booking.
What happens if I am charged twice?
Report the duplicate transaction with the order and gateway references. A verified duplicate charge is eligible for refund to the original payment method.
How long does an approved refund take?
It is initiated within 5–7 business days after verification; the payment provider or bank may require an additional 7–10 working days to show the credit.
